After losing the first two T20Is, England bounced back with a clinical performance in Rajkot to secure their first win of the tour and keep their hopes alive in the series.
After being reduced to 115/6, Liam Livingstone’s 43 off 24 balls propelled England to a challenging total of 171 in their innings. Varun Chakravarthy was the standout bowler for India, taking 5/24 in his four-over spell.
In reply, India lost wickets at regular intervals and were eventually bowled out for 145/9 in their allotted 20 overs. Adil Rashid exploited the slow pitch to perfection, delivering an economical spell that saw him concede just 15 runs in his four overs.
